Hi All,
I am able to generate the excel output in forms 10g Using OLE2 and also able to display excel file at client machine but I have some issues as follows:
i) Excel file generated at server side is not getting deleted.
After I close/save file at client side
Does Anyone have idea to delete the generated file at AS 10g using forms?.
ii) When I try to regenerate the excel file through forms application , Application Hangs as it is not able to generate the file which already exists at server level .

Help Will Be appreciated.

Search this forum for 'ole' and 'client_ole'. I think one of them has a 'rewrite' or 'write-over' flag specified.

Alternatively, do a 'host' command to delete any existing file before writing it.
