Hi,

i am getting the below error, when i am trying to connect to the database.

ORA-12516: TNS:listener could not find available handler with matching protocol

please can anyone provide me the solution.

P.S. the database is in RAC node structure. I see the listener and tns entries are fine.

Urgent Pls.

Try to increase your PROCESSES parameter.

First check weather listner port is locked by any other process and try to kill that process.
This should work.
