Dear All,

Is there a download available for RAC installation in either VMWARE or virtual PC. We need to show a simulation of RAC to upper management and wondering if any downloads available. I did see an earlier vmware template by ORACLE in one earlier oracle megazine but after their own Oracle VM, they are no more providing.

Another thoughts come to mind. Is there any RAC installation on Cloud available either free or with membership. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Do you want to demonstrate RAC capability without having to actually configuring a RAC yourself?

A RAC can be built with 2 white box PCs & a single dual-ported FireWire disk.

1/ What's your OS Version (& Hardware details)

2/ Vmware Version?

The OS version:we like to put the vmware and build the virtual machines on either current vmware server/workstation. the host will be window2003 server and guest will be either window 2003 or we could put Oracle Unbreakable Linux. The database is 10g version.

Although it would be very exciting as well challenging to build FROM scratch, we are somewhat looking for some pre-built templates or even simulator which could take RAC commands.

RAC Only support in Vmware Server not in Workstation (because in workstation vm cluster not support)
