Hi ,
Recently I attended AN INTERVIEW for Oracle and got through the final technical round. Also I got the result as "SHORTLISTED".But after that I didn't get any call, when asked to my friend who referred me I came to know that "recruitment may be freezed" .So,my doubt is 'Can i expect any calls from the company for confirmation..' or its all over! or what can I do further. I was totally disappointed on this regard. Can anyone help me out!Sad

Thank You!

Well, you might ask your friend (as he might have some more information) what has happened.

Then you put your effort into applying for other positions. You never stop applying or striving until you have the signed papers of employment or contract.

If this was a job you particularly liked, you should stay in contact with them. You could send them an email, or call them to ask very politely if they already have set a timeframe for the freeze.
Remember you should avoid being pushy, but noone will turn you down just because they find out you're enthusiastic.
