Hi all, I'm a complete newbie with Oracle, never used it once. I'm a quick learner though so please bare with me.
I have to setup an Oracle server for my company and so I downloaded and used the default options to install Oracle 10g XE on Windows Server 2003. Now I have some tables I need to import from a dmp file created in Oracle 9i.
I've read that I need to use the 'imp' command in order to do this but I have no idea how and I don't even know how to access the command line for Oracle. This should be a one time thing so they would rather have me figure it out than to hire an expert - so any help is appreciated!!
Here are the tables I need to import:
tables=(addterm_tags,stopword,Wilsonfiles3,lookup_list,NHWWTBL,RELNHWWTBL,TERMSSBIO,RELSBIO,SEARCHNHWWTBL,TERMSSRDG,RELSRDG,SEARCHSRD G,SEARCHSBIO,TERMSSBPI,RELSBPI,SEARCHSBPI,TERMSSGEO,RELSGEO,SEARCHSGEO,TERMSSPSB,RELSPSB,SEARCHSPSB,TERMSSCSB,RELSCSB,SEARCHSCSB)
If you need any other information, just post a reply and I will check back often. Thanks again!
