Hi All,

If I type crsctl command in os level.

Following error is displayed:

error while loading shared libraries: libhasgen10.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

But Cluster is running fine.
I am getting output for crs_stat -t command. Its successful.

crs_stat is in CRS_HOME/bin.
crsctl is in ORACLE_HOME/bin.

Most probably your environment is messed.

Hi Mahesh,

I get the same error.Tried in Oracle_home/bin.

In another server, crsctl command is working.

Hi all,

Is " crsctl " required for shutting down the clusterware.

Is there any other way to check the functioning of 3 services(css,evm and crs).

can anyone you provide any step by step process for starting and stopping the Instance,database,ASM and clustware.

Could be some misconfiguration or even a bug.

Check with metalink.
clusterware should be stared as root from CRSHOME.
Had you installed properly, this should be already be taken care of.
ASM,Instance and Database could be started with srvctl.

As usual, step-by-step methods are in documentation.
