Hello,

I have a running oracle 10g database on hp-ux v1. I am able to access the database from sqlplus. I am attempting to establish a basic connection to the database, and and am getting ORA-01034 and ORA-27101 errors. Also, the gui is giving a HP-UX error. Is anyone out there running HP-UX? I have jdk v. 1.6.0.03 from hp. There is a box upon startup that says my java version is unsupported. I wrote it off as the naming convention chosen by HP.
