How to get information from previous row (Was appended to "Canvas scroll bars..") [message #396454]

Hello sir,

please help me on this issue. This is my form layout...

COUNTRY	REG.NUM	START_DATE	END_DATE
US	R1111	3-Mar-2009	10-Apr-2009
CAN	P4444	5-Apr-06	
US	R2222

Today is 06-Apr-2009 and the first record will end_date on 10th april.

The third record is creating by user for same country with different reg.number. and my question is the start_date will not allow less than first record end_date.

That means third record start_date should be greater than
10-Apr-2009.

what to write the code and where to write.(In when validate item or when new record instance and what to write because it has to check previous record)

Please help me out.

Put the code in the When-Validate-Item of the 'Start_date'. IF the date in the item is not correct, issue a message and raise a form-trigger-failure.
