hi Gents ,

is there any way to change item type , for example from text item to check box depends on condition on run time ???

which version of forms you are using?

If form6i there is no possible as for as i know.

If form10g let them try using JavaBean Coding.

u can hide n show different items in the specific condition,

and if they are same database items then u would need to set the item propertise of both items.
