hi,
how to install oracle9i with forms and reports 6i..

which one can i install first and what is the procedure to connect with back-end(oracle9i).

please tell me details about that sir.

Install database first. Make sure you can connect to it (through SQL*Plus).

Then install Developer Suite 6i: Reports first, then Forms. Don't do the opposite as Reports installation overwrites Forms' configuration files (but Forms will not overwrite Reports' ones).

Edit TNSNAMES.ORA that belongs to Forms/Reports so that it points to the previously installed database. (Also, you might want to read more about the TNS_ADMIN variable - if so, search the board).
