I am iSqlPlus to access the data and able to retrieve / update / insert data. Some of the users who have been given privileges on certain tables are also able to use iSqlPlus. Is it possible to prevent a user having privileges on certain tables from accessing the data through iSqlplus ? Alternatively, can I create a user profile authenticating him/her to use iSqlplus ?

No, you can't but you can allow access ONLY for allowed tools.
