dear LF,
wherever the reply was made through post form, In bold letters the wordings were displayed as OP name and date and time when he has posted. My question is, "are you physically typing that OP name and what time he has posted etc etc or using some icons it is getting displayed in your reply post form". Incidentally i also agree that new version of 4.0 is not available. However if OP had some inside information about any beta version etc etc. Thank you very much for the courtesy extended towards my silly question.
yours

hi,
New features of apex 3.2. has been explained in the download site itself. The very important feature is existing forms can be converted easily to apex 3.2. No special addition on reporting tool. Above opine is based on the preliminary reading and not against sound reading of articles.

there are two main additions in APEX 3.2
the forms converter sounds interesting but i am unsure how easy and straightforward it will be. This is going on past experience where the Access converter was far from easy.
The security enhancements seem ok. In particular the ability to easily create a session timeout limit. There has been ways of doing this in the past, but this version makes the whole process more intuitive

dear kamal,
Mr.Raj is my associate too. If i am right, he is interested to create invoice (which deals with multiple tables and not a horizontal tabular layout report), the reports involving multiple region activities. To create complex reports, he need to depend on BI or some other tools. He is interested to know the tools for complex reports availability in apex 3.2 itself.
May be i am wrong also, since he has not discussed and i assume certain things. Your views please.

hi kamal,
dr.s.raghunathan is my senior and guru and he has rightly understood me. I dont want any standard horizontal layout. I am using both bip desktop and bi publisher to create complex reports like invoice etc. How do you create template without using bip?
