Dear All,
I have a small doubt regarding the configuration I have installed Datastage IBM websphere(Server) on the linux box(Server).I need to extract the data from the oracle database with use of this Datastage.My concern is whether i need to install the oracle client on the server box where the datastage resides.

Why don't ask Datastage what are the prerequisites to connect to an Oracle database?
