How we can know either a AR transaction Open or close [message #383971]

Hi All,

I have a general doubt, in AR how we can identify either any AR transaction either it's open or closed?

First of all what does it mean the status 'Open' or 'Close'.

I know ,at transaction window @ more tab, there is a field 'Status'.But it's user enterable field , system won't change the field automatically.Apart from this ,is there any way to identify the status of any transaction?
