We have jobs running using dbms_scheduler in oracle 10g(HP-UX). Some of the jobs were showing status as STOPPED. I checked the alert logs and there is no error and this job is not attached to any window. Here is the job status and reason when I query from dba_scheduler_job_run_details
JOB NAME OWNER STATUS COMPLETION DT RUN DURATION REASON
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JOB_1 MAINTAIN STOPPED 30-JAN-2009 02:28:23 +000 00:28:23 REASON="Job slave process was terminated"
Can someone tell me what could be the reason?

Somehow your ora_cjq0 Oracle process was terminated, either by an error, or someone killing it out. Should be in the alert log though I would think.
