Hi all,

We have a common parameter named DATA1 in all our existing forms which is unused as of today. We are planning to pass in the IP address in to DATA1 parameter in future.

So we want to replace the parameter name with IP_ADDRESS in all our existing forms(almost 700+ forms). I am wondering if there is a simple way to do this..

I would greatly appreciate any help on this.

Thanks,
Nikhil

I don't know, but - couldn't you just write a note into the application's documentation system which says something like "As of today (enter sysdate), parameter DATA1 contains IP address because blabla"?

Littlefoot,

thanks for your prompt response.

unfortunately I was forced to change the parameter name so that it 'll be meaningful for future applications and developers.

Nikhil.

Search this web site for 'FormsTool' and look at investing in its 'big sibling' called 'FormsAPI Master'.
