What are jre files? After I did installation of Oracle 10g, I see several folders of jre file in my path on Windows XP.
Also, I had previously installed client versions 9i and 11. I did intallation of 10g client without removing them. I intend to remove them now. Should I have uninstalled them before installing 10g (all what I need is client 10g)?
Thanks much for your help.

Thank you all for replying to my message.
Another problem I have is, I am running Oracle DataPump export utility
expdp testinst@testdb/password DIRECTOY=dumpdir FILE=test.dmp
It starts running, does not give me any error message but ends without creating any file.
I am new to ORacle system/DBA tasks. Any help, I would greatly appreciate it.
I checked registry and entries for 10g are created properly in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\KEY_OraDb10g_home1
I do not know what am I doing wrong.
Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me.
expdp testinst@testdb/password DIRECTORY=dumpdir DUMPFILE=test.dmp LOGFILE=capture.log
did not even generate a log file and ended silently.
I tried exp command
exp testinst@testdb/password consistent=y compress=y FILE=test.dmp
worked fine and created a nice dump file.
But I would like to use expdp command.
Thanks
