Hi Experts,
Please tell me how can i reduce the time for Export -Import.
When I perform Export from my current DB it took around 30-45 min,
For Import it took around 2-3 hrs.
I uused following command,
For Export:
C:\ulsdev/ulsdev@uls.infotech.com file=ulsdump.dmp log=ulslog.log
For Import:
C:\ulsrepay/ulsrepay@uls.infotech.com file=ulsdump.dmp fromuser=ulsdev touser=ULSREPAY log=ulslogimp.log

Not enough info. To me, it's not surprising to have an import take 3-6 times longer than an export.
Were the tables and indexes precreated in the target?
Do you have any LONG columns?
System load?
Etc.
