How do you do that "transfer"? Datapump? Export/import? INSERT statements? Something different?

Hi,

we are using simple Pl/SQl for transfering the data.

Regards,
Amit

It appears that "simple" is not the "best"; I'd suggest you to use export/import (or data pump) utilities instead. Oracle 10g Utilities book; pay attention to Part I - Data Pump, as well as Chapter 19 (original export and import).
