I have the FULL EXPORT backup at the UNIX box but it is with extention FULL_EXP.dmp.gz it means it is gunzipped.
And suppose i want it to import that file it in windows then does it works for me?
I think no.

But i read somewhere on net that we need to go for EXPDP and IMPDP instead of FULL export by - EXP
And Compressed file in unix will not work in the windows even if it will uncompressed?
Is it true?
Thanks,
