I am looking for a way to calculate the number of hours has occurred between EventA and EventB. The catch is that a day must by based on a "business day" of 7.75 hours (day begins at 08:00:00 and ends at 16:45:00 - with an hour between 12:00:00 and 13:00:00 not included), rather than a "normal day" of 24 hours.
For example, if EventA occurs at 16:00:00 one day and EventB occurs at 09:00:00 the next day then 2.45 hours have transpired between the events (not 17).
Anybody had to deal with something like this before? Any help or hints would be appreciated.
