I am trying to connect Oracle Database 8i to Informix through heterogenous services. The Oracle hsodbc call to the Informix ODBC driver is requiring the driver to have a translation library which the ODBC driver does not require. Running the Informix ODBC without a translation library works fine. Does anyone know if there is a parameter that Oracle can send to the ODBC drivers to ignore the translation library.
