I'm creating rman's catalog on rcvcat tablespace on the recovery database for 8i on NT. On Oracle document there is a catrman.sql to run for creating that catalog, but seems that is for UNIX because there is no this file in 8i/NT. I used 'rman rcvcat rmanuser/rmanpswd@dbname log=...' to do creation procedure, but there is nothing happening and just hanged on there and got a zero size of log file. But I found later that there are some tables and views created under rman schema with no rows. Anybody has done this task and give some suggestions? Thanks in advance.
