hi, I need to set up two database simultaneously. I try create two database. And on Solaris, setup the enviroment
ORACLE_SID=database1, But I just could not let the other database also running? Please help me. My oracle is standard version oracle8i.

Hi.

You need to now set your ORACLE_SID=database2.

Then try starting the database.
