I have been a maintenance/support DBA for a little over a year now. My boss has two new positions that he wants me to try out for. Both positions are in DBA development. One involves pure PL/SQL programming and the other one involves building Forms and Reports. I don't know which position to take. Will PL/SQL experience benefit me more for my career (high salary) or will Forms/Reports experience benefit me more?

It depends upon the skills U wish to acquire.
Even for Forms/Reports, U need PL/SQL
experience. By opting for Forms/Reports,
U will be enhancing your skills in PL/SQL and
also in Forms & Reports.
Current survey shows a DBA gets more bucks than
a developer. So if U continue in current role
and get certification, U will be benefitted more.
Atlast It is UR wish ...
