I exported the contents of a table and received the following:
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 904 encountered
ORA-00904: invalid column name
I checked the names of all columns for errors in naming convention and found none. I checked the export file and found all columns accounted for. The log stated that 725 rows were exported before terminating unsuccessfully. The export file appears to have the data. I did a truncate and import and the table appeared to be ok. Please/thanks analyze the problem and suggest an approach?
