I recently purchased "oracle8i for Windows NT starter kit" from oracle press and it came with a cdrom of the Oracle8i software.
I installed it on my machine and after the install was complete I looked for the installed components in the services and everything was in there but the TNSListener. I tried to reinstall 8i hoping that it would install a second time but it did not. Did I do anything wrong? Can someone please tell me how to install it or get it running?

Hallo Alex,

Find the program-utility "Oracle Net8 Assistent" and here you can create a listener.
