I have ORACLE 7.1 on IBM/AIX RISC Sysstem/6000.
The listener process start succesfully but when i execute sqlplus system/manager@aliasoracle this is the message error:
TNS-12500
TNS-12547: TNS:lost contact
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00517: Lost contact
IBM/AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 32: Broken pipe

Your listener.ora file needs to be looked into
