How can I pass parameters from Access to Oracle with passthrough [message #367203]

I have to write a pass-through query which needs to have parameters that can be changed by the user. For instance, the user needs to be able to select a date. I can't figure out any way to do it. I am using ODBC. Any ideas?? I would even consider VBA code but the query will be fairly long, though not terribly complex.
