I am using TCP to connect to my database which lies on the same machine as the client. I need to access the database using BEQ, but I can't find the protocol in the Create Service Name in Net8 Easy Config.
If I manually configure TNSNames.ora to reflect the new service name and then try to connect, I get A TNS: Protocol Adapter Error.
Turning on Tracing does not help.
