I am a Ph.D. student. My thesis is about software repositories. I have my repository built on an SQL Server 7.0 and I want to classify my software components inside the repository using faceted classification scheme. I have a question on how to make use of OLAP as a classification facility? If I succeed in, the query performance of the repository will increase. Please send your comments about this situation. Thanks in advance.
