I am trying to install Oracle Lite on a laptop.
It fails with a series of error messages relating to difficulties writing to files giving me the option of re-try; process or ignore.
There have been several oracle installations on the laptop which I believe to be thoroughly removed inc the registry.
Before I do something drastic like reformat the laptop, does any one know what must be installed on the laptop(NT4) to be able to install lite eg Must it be networked?; Must jdk be installed etc?
Any suggestions/comments/ideas welcome.
