I create output files (.LIS) to be printed at a later time using <HOST> commands. The report output consists of a series of 2-page letters (ranging in size from 1 complete letter to thousands).
I need the 1st page of the letter to be printed on letterhead stationary from a specific printer tray (TRAY 1) while the 2nd page of the lettert is to be printed on plain paper from a different printer tray (TRAY 2).
(The printer is a HP8000n).
Does anyone know how I can programmatically force the printer to print pages alternately from TRAY 1 and TRAY 2.
Oracle support claims it cannot be done... but most of you are much smarter than Oracle support personnel.
