I've done it and the only problems I had were with the width of the fields. You have to set some command line flag to widen the fields. It was straight forward after the first one. The only place I've ever seen any info is in the forms on-line manuals, but if you browse around ORAFAQ, who knows what you'll find :)

Hi Ryan,
This is Sethu, a software professional from India.. I came to know from ur message that u did some converstion from forms 3 to 4.. . i think 3 is character based and 4.5 is gui.. i want to know is there any utility to convert this.. is that free utility ? .. if yes where i can find it.. please help me.. its little bit urgent..

Sethu,
we are doing that now.
we are using a converter called FORMSGENIE.
This is not free,this is a third party tool.
We have used oracle's facility to upgrade also.
In this case we need to do a lot of post generation work.But the 3 rd party converter takes care of it if you use it.
