I am triing to load a flat file from a remote computer. When I sit at the server it works great, but when I try to do it from my pc, I get a TNS error. Can some one tell me how I need to change my sqlldr80 statement or what I need to do.

Did you use the server name?

example:
sqlldr80 your_username/your_pasword@TNS:YOUR_SERVER_NAME control=...
