Long Raw fields and Visual Basic [message #365514]

How can I insert raw data into an Oracle Long Raw field using Visual Basic? It keeps on raising an ODBC failure error. Besides, I cannot even insert data in a Long Raw column from SQL*PLUS. Can anyone tell me the way? Currently I'm using the DAO object an the 'execute' method if that helps you.
