i'm trying to run sql*net on tcpip and spx on same nic running on novell 411 server... tnslsnr is v2.3.2.1.0 and oracle is v7.3.2.3... spx works fine.... tcpip fails... i have generated using easycfg.... i can ping the server and get a response... so :
1) how do i correct tcpip connection
2) what are any tricks to running multiple protocols on one network interface card...

If install oracle enterprise edition v8 on a server with multiple cpu, do I have to make special configurations or do I need special options.
