Hi ,
I had a select Query for creating a view . Query is using SQL hint USE_HASH.Now the query is taking long hours to execute as compared to usual scenorios ie around to 5 to 10 minutes.
Is there any issues in using use_hash hint or in indexing . Can anyone , suggest me about details in using use_hash hint.

I agree with Michel. Oracle normally knows which access method will be the fastest (based on stats gathered). Hint should only be used if you think Oracle made a mistake and you know a better access method.
