Dear all

i have a userin oracle8i and i want to exp. it and imp. it in oracle 10g
please if any one gives me a hint or a notification to do such thing

but sorry i mean a dmp file it has been exported in 8i can i imported in 10g?

Do the export using Oracle 8i's EXP utility version.
Import it into the 10g database using Oracle 10g's IMP version.

In other words: export using the lower (of source and target) database version's EXP, import using the target database version's IMP.
