i have oracle 10g database and form6i/report6i.database is working is fine, but when i conncect form to same database then it showing error.can u resolve it please..

What is the error message? If it is to do with 'tnsnames.ora' then search this forum for 'tnsnames.ora' as this is a common problem.

error name is
ora-12154:tns :could not resolve service name

I was close. Search this forum for 'tns could not resolve service name' and you will find many threads. I prefer the 'tns_admin' environment variable solution.
