Webutil 1.0.6 slower into forms 10g [message #362652]

Hello

I have the webutil package into five of 10 forms of my aplication.

This five lets 30..40 seconds to run...and no error apears...

There is a reason for this problem ?

i was also facing same problem and my problem was solved by adding system IP in host file which is located in
\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc. open host file and put following line to the file.
<ip address> <compuet name>

I hit the same problem:

I have a SR at Oracle in Jan-06 regarding this issue. I can email the full SR if you are interested. in the end Oracle recommended the following:

SOLUTION / ACTION PLAN
=======================
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:

1. Go to the properties of "Network Configuration" on the problematic client machine.
2. Click on "Internet Protocol(TCP/IP)".
3. Click on "Properties" push button.
4. Click on "Advanced" push button.
5. Click on "WINS" tab.
6. Click the radio button "Disable NetBIOS over TCP/IP.

We're still running webutil 1.0.5 due to this issue as we can't change all of our clients PC's (hundreds of them).

Let me know if anyone has found a solution to this problem as we would like to move to 1.0.6 if possible.

It appears this is a known issue.

Solved with Sun JVM 1.5+ or changing some PC Network settings.
