How to know number of hits on my first post ? :) [message #361452]

Is it possible to know the number of views (hits) on my first post in ORAFAQ other than adding one more thread intentionally so that it will come as first thread in the corresponding section?

Actually this is a general question .

Another way will be to display number of hits in the pages derived from the link 'show all messages' from the profile.

Is it actually possible ? Or any other tips?

Hi Rajuvan,

Well, you can always page through ALL the index pages until you get to your first post. However, I'm sure you have more constructive things to do with your time.

Why is it so important to know anyway?

But how did you manage to get to that page from the thousands of pages? I don't have enough patient to reach there .

You are welcome.

It actually only took a several minutes. I just guesstimated the number of pages to go back and manually put that into the URL. At that point, I just paged up/down a few pages until the title of your first post showed up.

Yes..

Its a nice trick . I never tried in that way.
When it tried took me just about One-two minutes to reach the page.
