Hy,

I'm trying to create a tooltip for a multirecord block that is different for every record.

I allready created it for a normal multirecord block that has no scrollbar.

When I add a scrollbar to the block, my system doesn't seem to work anymore. This is because there are no events firing when you press the scrollbar 'UP'. Only when the block needs to fetch a new record the 'when new record instance' event fires.

Does anyone know if it is possible to handle the scrollbar 'UP' in an event ?

Key-up or any other key trigger doesn't work as this is the scrollbar we are handling and not a key in the block.

according to me there are no events linked to the scrollbar.

Acording to me there is.

Create a 'key-others' trigger and verify that SOMETHING is being sensed by the Form. You are using the mouse to press the 'arrow' key at the top and bottom of a vertical scroll bar?

Yes i am using the mous to press the top end of the scrollbar. I tested the key others trigger. But as I allready suspected, pressing the button on top of the scrollbar does not initiate an event.

I guess there is no solution to this problem.

I suspect that either you are trapping the key somewhere else in your form or there is a problem with the JInitiator.

Try creating a new form and only place code in the key-other trigger at the form level. See if this minimal form works.
