Hi All,

I have installed Oracle Application Server 10g Rel2. Currently I am running my application using http://ipaddress/forms/frmservlet.

So Now I want to replace this URL with the http://ipaddrss. If we replace this URL is it possible that the error will not come when we run the Report using http://ipaddress/reports/rwservlet.

So Can someone tell me how can i achieve this URL hiding or replacement.

What is the error that you are getting when you run the report?

Thanks for your reply.

I asked in my post following

1)I want to replace/hid the path http://ipaddress/forms/frmservlet with http://ipaddress. Is It Possible to hide or replace?

2)and if the path replace to http://ipaddress then is problem will occur in running the reports using the http://ipaddress/reports/rwservlet....
i.e forms URL path replace will not make problems for reports URL.

Searching this forum for 'hide forms/frmservlet' found http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/315328/67467/?srch=hide+forms%2Ffrmservlet#msg_315328 and searching for 'dns' turned up my only idea at http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/266921/67467/?srch=dns#msg_266921

I don't think your reports server will be affected.

My problem can be solved through the second idea provided
http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/266921/67467/?srch=dns#msg_266921. So I will revert back as soon as i make a entry in DNS.
