oracle sample schemas(hr,oe) [message #355229]

Hello everyone
I am very new to oracle tech. I am working with 10g. So i follow some tutorials for jdeveloper. But i have not sample schmeas under oracle directories. So i found hr schmea's hr_install.sql script from jdeveloper handbook authors web site and created and populated hr schema. But i can not find scripts for other schemas.Especially i need oe schemas script.

there are some scripts but there are no scripts for populating schemas

Where can i find that scripts to create and populate schemas

They are on the database server CD.

CD is a generic term, you can find the same to download on otn:

thanks but it is not possible for me to download 700mb file because of my slow internet connection.

If someone can show me way of just downloading samples, i will be very happy

Hi,

I had the same problem and noticed that Oracle Database 10/11g Express Edition doesn't come with OE schema pré installed, only the HR. Neither brings the necessary files for manual installation.

I was able to obtain the OE schema files in here:

And then follow the procedure on this guide:
