Hi,

there are no awr snapshots and i investigated and found the following.. can you please suggest how to make GATHER_STATS_JOB run frequently?

SQL> select job_name,STATE,ENABLED, START_DATE from dba_scheduler_jobs;

JOB_NAME STATE ENABL START_DATE
--------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
PURGE_LOG SCHEDULED TRUE 15-FEB-06 03.00.00.100000 AM -01:00
GATHER_STATS_JOB SCHEDULED TRUE

SQL> select * from dba_hist_snapshot;

no rows selected

Why this question is posted in "Text & interMedia" forum?

please read OraFAQ Forum Guide, especially "How to format your post?" section.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code (See SQL Formatter) and align the columns in result.
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.
Also always post your Oracle version (4 decimals).
