Hello Experts,

I am having some problems installing Oracle 10g Express in a Windows XP SP2 with 1Gb RAM and 80Gb HD.

After the installation I click on All Programs->Oracle Database 10g Express Edition->Go to Database Homepage and the page is not displayed for http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex. I believe Oracle should have a web server running on port 8080 and for whatever reason this web server is not running.

So, my question is: How can I get that web server running so that the Database Homepage is loaded?

As most (OK, some of) Windows-related problems can be solved by restarting the computer, well - did you try this option?

Are you using a DHCP address? If so this may be the source of all your problems. It may be worthwhile to read this how to document first to see if you missed anything:
