Hello,
In our application we have an inbuilt data mart ETL process which is scheduled to run daily nightly.The application is failing with error UNDO tablespace. When we run the extract manually in the morning it runs fine.
Other than keep increasing the UNDO space which eventually will cause the error in REDO space is there any other option for this.
We have increased the table space couple of times as a temporary solution. We have a data of 645.37 MB and UNDO tablespace of 9GB. We are on oracle 10G version.

* check if some session didn't forget to commit
* increase undo tablespace size
* don't use GUARANTEE option on undo tablespace
* decrease undo_retention parameter
These are the options you have.
