Hi,

I use toad for development purpose.
My machine has installed Oracle 10g client.
I am able to connect to the server through TOAD because i put the entry for the server in tnsnames.ora file.

I am curious to know is that can i connect to the oracle server which is located at the other machine from TOAD without installing oracle on my machine.
Is there any setting in TOAD?

It appears that people who read the OraFAQ Forum Guide benefit from the "How to get a quick answer to your question?" section.

Shame you aren't one of them. Because, you'd probably find this.
