Hi,
setup wizard cannot initialize after double clicking on my machine but same cd of oracle run perfectly on other machine.
I try deferent windows for that purpose but all fruitless.
Please help me

The deference is just two deferent machines only,
fire wall fixed at both(unblock) side,
same service pack,
can hardware make similar problem?
and Please tell me is service pack 2 or 3 not sufficient for Oracle 8i

The differences are that there are differences.
What are the differences between these 2 machines?
Note 8i which was released in the previous century is not certified for Windows 2000.
